Battlefield

* Fixed issue with group leader not correctly de-queueing the group.

* You cannot capture data or battlefield terminals while in stasis.
* Battlefield terminal waypoints now clean up after 90 seconds, if they have not been cleared by capturing a terminal.

Quests

* Quest target Joti Laike no longer occasionally spawns inside a building in Nym's stronghold.

Jedi

* Antaria Wellos (a melodramtic Jedi) will now upgrade your Battlefield Saber Schematics into Fifth Generation Versions.
o He will only offer to take them if you have already completed the collections that grant 5th Gen sabers.
o He will only offer to take them if you have them in your inventory.
o He will destroy the old schematic and replace it with a new one.

PvP

* Entertainer buffs now decay properly when a player dies on the PvP battlefields.

Highlights



* Empire Day: We’re bringing back the event from last year and have added many new features to ensure it is as exciting if not more so, than our past three events. Enhancements were made to the entire event from last year.



* Bounty Hunter: In this update we have changed Carbine expertise line to effect both carbines and pistols. You will find that deadly strikes now effect pistols as well. We have made changes to allow Relentless Onslaught to work with pistols.



* Community Requests: Introducing the ability to wear backpacks with all Jedi robes. In addition to this update head-wear can now be worn with elder Jedi robes.

Empire Day

* This year the tension heats up between the Alliance and the Empire. Both factions are recruiting members to help post propaganda and tear down whatever propaganda the other side managed to post. Entertainers are recruited to boost the troops' morale, while Traders are hired to help keep supplies flowing to the front lines.
* Darth Vader will be making appearances in Theed every 15 minutes.
o Darth Vader will be handing out badges to 3 to loyal Imperial players every time he arrives.
o To attain the badge, select the Bow radial option on Darth Vader.
o Imperials seeking Empire Day quests and events can go to Theed and seek out:
+ Major Brenn Tantor for Recruitment and Anti-Propaganda Events (Naboo -5395 4465)
+ Droid Kaythree for Trader and Entertainer Quests (Naboo -5536 4372)
+ Mara Jade for Combat Quests (Naboo -5534 4369)
* Princess Leia will be making appearances in Coronet every 15 minutes.
o Princess Leia will be handing out badges to 3 to loyal Alliance players every time she arrives.
o To attain the badge, select the Bow radial option on Princess Leia.
o Rebels seeking Remembrance Day quests and events can go to Coronet and seek out:
+ Captain Derlin for Resistance and Vandalism Events (Corellia -187 -4112)
+ Major Carlist Rieekan for Trader and Entertainer Quests (Corellia -188 -4115)
+ Wedge Antillies for Combat Quests (Corellia -243 -4150)
* Both Ceremonies have been expanded upon and improved.
o There are now Imperial and Rebel naval flybys at the end of the ceremonies.
o There are new Imperial and Rebel fireworks at the end of the ceremonies.
o Sentries have been placed to help keep order.
o More troops are participating in the ceremonies.
* New rewards have been added to the Celebration Coordinators for purchase by players participating in the events.
* Both the Emperor's Statue and Yoda's Fountain display the player's eligibility for a badge from Princess Leia and Darth Vader.
* Both the Emperor's Statue and Yoda's Fountain have new gifts for players.
* All 2008 issues with choosing of players for badges have been fixed.
* Neutral players can participate in Kiosk events for the faction of their choice.
* Neutral players can participate in Entertainer and Trader quests for the faction of their choice.
* A player may switch faction to complete the other factional content but can only receive one Champion badge from Princess Leia or Darth Vader.

Player City:

* Structures on a server boundary are no longer prevented from being packed up if they are flagged with 'Zoning Violation'.
* Fixed an issue that caused City Elections to not show the New Mayor's name.
* City MOTD: Visitor Message is now prefaced with "City(YourCityNameHere?) Message: ".
* Fixed an issue that caused the Ousted Mayor's noTrade Items to become unusable when transferring the City Hall/Cloning Centers.

PvP

* Entertainer buffs should now retain their full buff value when they decay due to PvP death.

Bounty Hunter

* Changed Carbine expertise line to effect both carbines and pistols.
o Carbine Efficiency is now Small Arms Efficiency.
o Carbine Accuracy is now Small Arms Accuracy.
o Deadly strikes now effect pistols too.
+ Pistol critical chance is increased by 10.
+ Pistol Range is increased by 5.
o Relentless Onslaught now works with pistols.

Jedi

* Backpacks can now be worn with all Jedi robes.
* Head-wear can now be worn with elder Jedi robes.

StoryTeller

* Added Costume for Royal Guard.
* Added Costume for Super Battle Droid.

Combat

* Critical Hit Fire Damage Over Time ticks should no longer only tick once.

Treasure Maps

* Players can now search for their treasure up to 15 meters away from the treasure waypoint.

Destroying Vendors

* Players must type in the 6-digit code in order to destroy a Player Vendor.

Text Chat

* If you are having guild text chat issue, you can now use the command. /guildTextChatRoomRejoin to leave and rejoin the guild text chat room to attempt to resolve the issue.
* If you are having group text chat issue, you can now use the command /groupTextChatRoomRejoin to leave and rejoin the group text chat room to attempt to resolve the issue.
* If you are having room text chat issue, you can now use the (now always enabled) Leave button on the text chat channel browser window to leave the room, and then use the Join button to rejoin the room to attempt to resolve the issue.

Voice Chat

* This is an updated version of the voice chat system from our partners at Vivox. As part of this update, you will see a new process running in the background. It's called "SWGVoiceService.exe".
* Depending on your firewall settings, you may need to allow this application to access the internet.

Vet Reward

* 72 Month Vet rewards have been added.

Misc

* Dueling: You may not start a duel if you are already in combat.
* The Hanging TCG House Sign will now be angled properly when attached to the Mustafar Bunker.

Engineering Trader

* New droids craftable by engineers:

* Level 90 Engineers can now craft a Hand Sampling Module

o This feature will add a buff to the master who has called the droid.
o The buff will increase the hand sampling rate of the owner.
+ Hand Sampling buff from droids is a 30 second buff that will refresh itself every 20 seconds.
+ Running out of power with a droid with hand sampling will cause the buff to clear on the owner.
* Added schematic for Droid Decal kit at level 18
o This kit allows the droid master to change the textures on the droid. Not all droids have textures though.
* Trim can now be colored on Battle Droids, via the customization tool
* Battle Droids can now be colored during crafting
* Super Battle Droids can now have their trim color changed (you will need to use the decal tool to choose what trim you want)
* Your Expertise will be reset upon logging in.
* Level 42 Engineering Traders can now craft the Mustafarian Panning Droid Vehicle
o This vehicle is immune to lava damage.
* Spatial chat commands for droids are now commands in the combat command browser for all professions (icons not hooked up yet).
* Through decades of research and hard work, Master Engineers have mastered the Art of recreating Basilisk War Droids. These Droids were once used by the fierce Mandalorians, now anyone who has the credits and friendship of a Master Engineering Trader can get their hands on a very close replica of one.
o Basilisk War Droid is immune to lava.
o Basilisk War Droid Vehicle can be colored via the vehicle customization kit
* The old special attack display for droids does not display any special attacks and has been removed.
* Crafted droids no longer attempt to evade an enemy in combat (run around) and instead follow their target.
* Droid weapons should have their min/max damage set on both their primary and secondary weapons.
* Droid levels are affected by combat module effectiveness divided by ten, allowing for more flexibility with droid crafting.
o Non-traders have a maximum droid level of 60, when they call their droid. This is due to not being able to fully control the droid to its maximum potential.
* Slowed down movement speed on the Protocol Droid to make their running look better.
* Advanced Probot had a label for a combat only socket cluster, but the cluster actually took combat and general.
* Fixed a few typos with droid ingredients, command descriptions, and skill descriptions.
* Probot socket cluster names have been fixed for the combat only socket cluster and the combat/general socket cluster.
* Audio effects for DZ70, LE Repair, LIN Demolitionmech, Mark IV Sentry, and Treadwell droids have been added.
* Changed combat module slots to be generic combat module slots so the new combat modules will be craftable in them for the Droideka, Battle Droid, CWW8 Droid, and the Pit Droid.
* Combat module ratings will no longer be displayed on a droid module, if they are zero.
* Structure maintenance will no longer be displayed on droid modules if it is zero.
* The structure maintenance run display no longer displays an Add button, if the list of structures is empty.
* Canceling a droid assignment to a structure no longer assigns the droid to the structure.
* Destroying a building will properly remove it from a droid's structure maintenance list.
* Auto-harvesting without power will no longer function.
* Droid datapads are now inaccessible, if it is out of power,
* A Droid cannot be used to craft items, if it is out of power,
* Power droids will now recharge a droid target, provided that a command has been trained on the power droid.
* Added four new detonation modules that increase in power the higher the crafting level (Detonation Modules 1-5 are now available).
* Draft schematics for chassis, components, modules, and socket clusters have been renamed so they are displayed by category in the crafting tool's draft schematic list.
* Droids using a harvest module no longer get hung on invalid targets, when auto-harvesting.
* "A Droid Battery" renamed to "Droid Battery".
* Junk loot batteries have been renamed to be a specific type of copper to differentiate them from a crafted droid battery.
* Droid deeds should now properly display their level.
* Data Storage Module 5 - Incorrect description for the Electronics GP Module described as Processing Unit has been changed to Data Management Unit.
* Data Storage Module 5 and Item Storage Module 5 crafting experience have been increased.
* Droids and droid deeds now show combat statistics on them.
* Droid batteries now show the count of their stack in their examine window, provided they are crafted after this update.
* Droid battery draft schematics no longer need conductivity for their casing. Instead, they use quality of the ore needed.
* Droid batteries may now be used from your inventory or hotbar, provided they are crafted after this update.
* Changed socket banks to be in the droid component list instead of a generic component list. Renamed the socket banks to be clearer as to what they are for.
* Data storage module rating and slot information now shows up on the droid's deed as well as its datapad entry.
* Droid Item Storage ratings have been expanded from allowing maximum item storage of 10 to a new maximum of 30 items.
* Droid deeds and droid control devices in your datapad should now show their storage module rating as well as inventory capacity, if they have been crafted with a droid storage module.
* Droid storage compartment now displays its quality value for all new compartments crafted.
* Fixed a mislabeled part "Manipulator Arm" to display that it really needs a "Manipulator Arm Package Set" on the Treadwell droid and the Advanced Treadwell droid.
* Weapon expertise removed.

Cybernetics

* Engineer Traders can now craft Cybernetics.
o Schematics consist of Cybernetic Hands, Forearms, Arms, Legs and Torsos.
o Cybernetics can be crafted with Armor Cores and Armor Power Bits (both optional).
o Cybernetic Schematics are granted in the Engineer profession wheel at various levels.
o Cybernetic Leg Schematics will accept 2 Armor Cores (optional)
o Cybernetic Arms and Legs can be crafted with 2 sockets.
o Cybernetic Torso can be crafted with 1 socket.
o Cybernetic Forearms can be crafted with 1 socket.
o Cybernetic Hands can not be crafted with sockets.
* Most gloves can be equipped (but will not draw) with Cybernetic Arms, Forearms, and Hands.
* Engineers can now craft Armor Power Bits (Schematic granted in profession wheel).
* There is now a checkbox on the Cybernetics UI to switch between Appearance Cybernetics and normal Cybernetics.
* Cybernetic Doctors now bio-link cybernetics that are installed normally.
o Cybernetic Doctors do not bio-link Appearance Cybernetics.
o Only Crafted Cybernetics are bio-linked. Quest/Collection reward cybernetics are not bio-linked when installed.
* Cybernetic Experimentation is now available as a Modifier Bit in the Reverse Engineering system.

* Engineer Help Monkey now has Cybernetic Assembly and Cybernetic Experimentation.
* Cybernetic Doctors have all agreed to a Code of Ethics when considering the installation of any Cybernetic Limb.
o In an effort to prevent Cybernetic Psychosis, players are restricted to 10 installation points at Level 90 - speak with your local Cybernetic Doctor for more details.
* Engineers have access to two Cybernetic Enhancement Cores; one increasing Health and the other increasing Action.
o Crafted Cybernetic Hands will not receive the Enhancement Core slots.
* Players are now able to visit a Cybernetic Doctor to have Cybernetics installed in the Appearance Tab.
* Cybernetics can be used in the Socket Retrofit Tool
o Cybernetic Arms and Legs will receive 2 Sockets when being retrofitted.
o Cybernetic Torso and Forearms will receive 1 Socket when being retrofitted.
o Cybernetic Hands can not be used in the Socket Retrofit Tools since they do not receive sockets.

Content

* A new quest series for players around level 50.
o Investigate the underground Droid factory and help Corsec end the droid threat.
o If you've completed the last of the legacy quests, talk to Agent Taarna in Nashal to start the new quests.
* The weapons given out during the legacy quest line by Balfur Jhcor now have a level requirement of 55.

Pets (not Beasts)

* Combat fly-text now shows on pets.
* Droids will now return to their master after combat, rather than the location they were standing before combat started.

Crafting

* Clothing and armor crafting station ambient noise reduced.
* Crafting station quality now grants a small percentage to assembly and experimentation success rolls.
* Draft Schematics affected by the 99% maximum experimentation bug may now be crafted up to 100%.
* Reduced the ambient audio of weapon and structure crafting stations.

TCG:

* The M'a Jong's Galactic Tiles Arcade Cabinet can now be played by others.
* Both TCG Video Game items now display the Death Star Layout High Scores.
* All players can now activate the TCG Item: Tauntaun Stuffed Animal
* All players can now activate the Antique Tauntaun Ride; 25 Credits are required to start the ride.
* All players can now activate the TCG Item: Wampa Stuffed Animal

Battlefield

* Dueling a player of your same faction no longer reduces the enemy team's points or counts as a kill on the leader board.

Jedi

* Jedi can now wear armor starting at level 22.

Bug Fixes

* Fixed an issue with entertainer buffs values getting corrupted after PvP death.
* Fixed an issue that prevented some players from placing storyteller items inside of a city where they have Zoning Rights or Storyteller Zoning Rights.
* Fixed a bug where the input/output selection for Voice Chat would reset to "Default System Device" every time you opened the options window. (Note: This doesn't fix the issue of those options being reset after log-out, that fix is still in testing).
* Fixed an issue where some Mayors were not considered the 'owner' of City Decorations if they were Mayor Pre-Update 8, and still is the Mayor.

Cybernetics

* Fixed an issue where the Anakin Cybernetic Forearm could not be installed.
* Take your Anakin Cybernetic Forearm that is Bio-Linked to the Cybernetic Doctor and have it installed. The Cybernetic Doctor will remove all Bio-Link remnants from the Anakin Cybernetic Forearm upon install.
* Removed Bio-Link from new Anakin Cybernetic Forearms.
* Fixed an issue where some cybernetics could not be installed due to conflicts with the bio-link system.
* * Cybernetic Hands and Forearms no longer have the text 'You can wear this item. Select equip from the radial menu.'

Misc

* New Storyteller command: /storyAutoDeclineInvites. This toggles whether or not you will auto-decline storyteller invitations including those to assist in a story.
* While in a battlefield, you will auto-decline story invites regardless if whether you have activated the auto-decline feature or not.
* All Death Trooper paintings claimed before the no-trade flag was cleared, can now be traded.
* /remoteCityHousePackup is no longer linked to other commands.

Battlefield

* Changing queue settings in Restuss should no longer corrupt your queue data.

GCW

* Advancing two ranks will no longer skip GCW skill and rank badge granting.

Highlights

Star Wars Chronicles Master System
It’s time to open your imagination and start creating stories to share with your friends. With the Star Wars Chronicles system, you now have the ability to create stories from relics you will discover throughout the galaxy. Use the Quest Builder to write your story with the relics you have discovered. Hit “Create Quest” to consume the relics and create a holocron in your inventory. This holocron can be traded to others or activated to begin the adventure. Completing holocrons will reward you with profession experience and tokens. Tokens can be used at the Chronicles reward vendor, S7-U44 Vending Droid, in both Theed and Coronet. The vendors are in the tent behind C-3PO. You can purchase relic booster packs from them as well as other exciting rewards.

For some friendly assistance, speak with C-3PO and he will explain more about Chronicles.


* Chronicle Master – all players can advance in the chronicle profession. Open your profession wheel and take a look at what awaits as you advance as a chronicler.
* Quest Builder – the tool used to create holocrons or drafts.
* Draft – a saved version of your quest. Creating drafts does not consume relics. You can edit drafts freely. They can be used to create holocrons.
* Relics – objects that represent memory, experiences, visions. You will discover relics as you play the game.
* Holocrons – by pressing “create quest” in the Quest Builder, you will consume the relics for your quest and produce a holocron in your inventory. This can be traded or sold on the Bazaar. Players can active them to participate in your quest.
* Sharing – as you progress in the Chronicle profession, you will gain the ability to allow your Chronicle holocrons to be shared. Sharing will allow multiple players to enjoy your quest from a single holocron.
* Fragments – relic fragments. They are acquired through loot, as a byproduct of creating a holocron, and by deconstructing relics. Fragments can be combined to create a relic.
* Tokens – earned for completing other people’s quests. When people complete your quests, some tokens will be held in your Chronicles Reserve for you to claim. Use /chroniclerGetReserve to claim your reserve of tokens and Chronicles XP.
* Relic booster packs – purchased from the Chronicles reward vendors by using tokens, they provide random relics.

Vendor/Bazaar:

* Search By Attribute: Selected object types can now be searched by selected attributes in the vendor/bazaar window. If the selected object in the Object Type Filter tree of the vendor/bazaar window supports search by attribute, the "Enable Item Attribute Filter" checkbox will be displayed at the bottom of the window where you can perform search by attribute.
* The price limit on the bazaar has been increased to 10,000,000 credits.
* Vendor price limit has been increased to 833,333,333 credits.
* A /locateVendor command has been added to find all your initialized vendors and report their status. The command has a 15 minute cooldown.
* Resource containers on vendor/bazaar that are instant sale now contain the "Credits Per Unit" attribute. This attribute is also searchable through item attribute search.
* You can now create waypoint to vendor for items in the Available Items tab. These waypoints will not contain the item price in the waypoint name.
* Fixed issue where some items of type Armor Component or type Container are not listed when the Component->Armor Component or the Misc->Container node is clicked in the bazaar/vendor window Object Type Filter tree.
* In the vendor/bazaar window Object Type Filter tree, items immediately under the Component node have been moved to the new Component->Component node. The new Component->Component node supports Search By Attribute.
* In the vendor/bazaar window Object Type Filter tree, items immediately under the Deed node have been moved to the new Deed->Deed node. The new Deed->Deed node supports Search By Attribute.
* In the vendor/bazaar window Object Type Filter tree, items immediately under the Misc node have been moved to the new Misc->Misc node. The new Misc->Misc node supports Search By Attribute.
* In the vendor/bazaar window Object Type Filter tree, items immediately under the Tool node have been moved to the new Tool->Tool node. The new Tool->Tool node supports Search By Attribute.
* You can now specify more characters on the item name filter entry field.

Banking:

* Galactic Reserve
o You can store up to 3 billion credits per character in "long term, for a rainy day" storage in the Galactic Reserve. There is no interest paid on credits kept in the Galactic Reserve.
o From any banking terminal in any of the Galactic Reserve 3 branch cities (Mos Eisley, Theed, and Coronet), through the bank terminal's radial menu, you can deposit/withdraw 1 billion credits at a time to/from the Galactic Reserve.
o If you have a deposit with the Galactic Reserve, the balance will be displayed after the Bank balance.
o There is a 15 minutes wait before you can perform another transaction with the Galactic Reserve.
* If receiving new credits into the cash (or bank) balance would cause the cash (or bank) balance limit to be exceeded, existing cash (or bank) credits will be automatically transferred to any available bank (or cash) balance or any available galactic reserve balance to make room for the incoming credits.

User Interface

* Holding delete/backspace/arrow keys/home/end now works properly in text fields.

Combat

* A pass was made on many melee weapon sounds.
o This means many of the melee weapons will now be using custom sounds rather than the default swing.

Misc

* Yavin IV Whisper Bird lair names should no longer show as code string.
* The pirate trap abilities can no longer be used on asteroids
* The Sorosuub Ion Mesh Projection shield should now get valid values when looted
* Added new counter badges for players that have accumulated more than 300 badges.

Death Troopers
After a mysterious turn of events the Empire has mustered an enormous military presence in a remote location on Dathomir. Imperial High Command has issued a travel warning to notify citizens to avoid travel to the planet if possible. Citizens that cannot avoid travel to Dathomir should be aware that certain locations are now considered restricted areas. Unauthorized travel by citizenry to these restricted areas may result in fines, arrest or both. While rumors have circulated that restricted areas are being used to contain a biological threat, no official report has been confirmed or denied by High Command.



* Players that have already completed the Update 13 "Something is Obviously Wrong" quests will be contacted and given a quest upon login.
* Players that have not already completed the Update 13 "Something is Obviously Wrong" quests will need to finish up to have access to the Death Troopers quest line.
* Players that have not started the "Something is Obviously Wrong" quests can kick off the content by using the publish gift named "Jabba's Comlink."
* To participate in the Death Troopers content, players will first need to complete the "Something is Obviously Wrong" quest line.
* Added Chronicles relics specific to the Death Troopers content

Death Troopers - Known Issue

* After further experimentation with the Blackwing virus, we discovered that the Sullustan race was particularly susceptible to the infection. Sullustan's who have been infected will exhibit symptoms including mood swings, cold sweats, and white eyes. Rest assured we have an inoculation ready and it will be administered in the next update.

Vendor/Bazaar

* Search By Attribute: You can now search by attribute factory crates by the attributes of the item contained inside the crate. If the Misc->Factory Crate node is selected, you must first specify the Type search attribute to indicate the type of item you are looking for, and based on the specified item type, additional search attributes for that item type will be added to the attribute list. If an item type node under the Misc->Factory Crate node is selected, the attribute list will be automatically populated with the search attributes for the selected item type.
* Fix issue where the Offers and Stockroom tab return all items regardless of what is selected in the Object Type Filter tree.



Chronicles



* If your Chronicles Reserve has something in it, you will see a reminder message when you log in.
* Reward items inside of a Chronicles Holocron will no longer appear in a junk dealer's list.
* You will now be able to move objects inside of a Chronicles Tent up or down.
* Generic Location tasks in a Holocron built directly from a draft will point to the correct location.
* If you are claiming more than 500 tokens from your Chronicles Reserve, you will now get the correct amount.
* Chronicle relics are no longer of any interest to junk dealers.

Death Troopers



* Increased blackwing canister spawns at all camps Alpha - Delta
* Death Trooper Virus should not be applied in the Quarantine Zone when the player logs in if the player already has the antivirus.
* Removed 2 handed melee weapons from undead.
* If at any point the player deletes a quest in their Death Trooper main quest line, returning to the last NPC or device where the quest was received, should allow that player to receive the quest again.
* Fixed issue where players would get stuck at the first dungeon console if they deleted the quest and had the quest reissued from the Inquisitor.
* Fixed issue where players would get stuck if they deleted their active quest because Dr. Jin disappeared. Players can now go to the command console on that level to reissue the quest.
* Elites Level 5 - 50 no longer Death Blow the player.
* Normal’s Level 5 - 80 no longer Death Blow the player.
* Dynamically spawned undead still Death Blow the player (enemies spawned for camp defense, shuttle parts, vents, escort, etc.).
* All Sullustan's have been inoculated. Their eyes should no longer be white and they should be in a better mood.
* Virus Inoculation now lasts 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes.
* Added research facility collection objects.
* Trig should no longer gate players from redoing the main quest line because they have completed the radio delivery content.
* All factions will now clone at the cloning facility near the Starport.
* Dr. Griffax Jin now respawns within 2 minutes.
* If players break off combat with Dr. Jin (by running away or using smoke bomb for instance), they will receive a system message that indicates he will be back soon.
* Cornburr is now a boss.
* Reduced Respawn Timers on much of the quarantine zone.
* The music track for defeating the Undead Rancor will only play once.

Misc



* Structure admin can now move, rotate, and save decoration/restore decoration no trade items.
* Flare S Sitting Position Fixed.

Imperial counterintelligence agents embedded with a Rebel Bothan spy network intercepted the following Alliance transmission. Our field agents have noticed heightened Rebel activity in certain sectors, and it appears as though we have uncovered the cause:

Following the recent situation on Dathomir, and additional rumors of Imperial atrocities, it is imperative that we take extreme measures to expand our intelligence gathering networks and secure vital communications routes. I am calling on all fleet commanders to rally ships and available ground forces to three critical strategic points across the galaxy:

Tatooine – city of Bestine: The capital of Tatooine is rife with corruption and political turmoil, and is also a key Imperial outpost. If we take and hold this city we will control a wealth of information that moves through the galactic underworld.

Talus – city of Dearic: Another capital city plagued by dirty politics and scandal, Dearic is also home to a diverse and bustling Starport. Control of this city provides a broad spectrum of intelligence that will span the entire galaxy.

Naboo – city of Keren: As the Emperor’s home world, Naboo is the beating heart of the Empire. To establish a control point on this planet would not only supply access to crucial intelligence, but would also be a devastating blow to Imperial morale and the Emperor himself. With its high level of commerce and financial influence throughout the Naboo system, Keren is the perfect target for this operation.

This mission takes top priority. The Empire must not be allowed to hold these cities. Good luck, and May the Force Be With You!

Galactic Civil War: Forces Under Siege Features

New, massive invasion/siege warfare scenarios in three major cities - Bestine, Dearic and Keren featuring: New Gameplay:

* Dynamic changes occur in cities based on which faction is currently in control. Cities will display Imperial or Rebel banners and faction-specific NPCs, quests, terminals and pylons depending on which faction is on top
* Added support for Factional Mercenaries. Neutral players can align themselves with either faction to participate in city conflicts and earn rewards
* Mayors of player cities are able to set their city’s factional alignment from the management terminal
* Win battles within newly implemented Planetary Regions, which determine which faction controls a planet
* New Planetary Region Display interface shows which faction is in command of regions and planets throughout the galaxy

New Interactive Structures:

* Defend your city by manning barricades and building defensive turrets
* Assault enemy cities and take out defense structures and key enemy personnel with the might of AT-AT or Hailfire missile attacks

All New Profession-Based Quests:

* Contribute to the battle with profession-specific quests that let you bolster defending or invading forces
* Improve and repair defensive structures, revive fallen soldiers, heal fatigue, entertain demoralized troops, slice terminals, scout and sabotage patrol points, and more

New Rewards:

* Reap the benefits of war when you successfully lay waste to your opponents with invasion-specific quests
* Earn tokens for defending your city with battle-specific quests such as manning barricades, building turrets and treating wounded soldiers
* Cash in tokens for new rewards, which include: faction-specific clothing including capes, cloaks and battle-scarred armor; Entertainer glow sticks and multiple new weapons

The Galactic Civil War is being introduced with Update 15. With this update, your GCW points are directly responsible for control of cities, planets, and the galaxy. You will see these changes reflected on your planetary and galactic maps. Bestine on Tatooine, Dearic on Talus, and Keren on Naboo have been turned on for the new invasion system.

GCW

* Defense
o Bestine
+ The Defending General can be found inside Bestine at -1214 -3626.
+ An Officer giving defending players quests can be found not far from the General at -1195 -3620.
o Daeric
+ The Defending General can be found inside Daeric at 479 -3007.
+ An Officer giving defending players quests can be found not far from the General at 478 -3023.
o Keren
+ The Defending General can be found inside Keren at 2131 2766.
+ An Officer giving defending players quests can be found not far from the General at 1787 2512.

* Offensive
o Offensive Camps can be used by the invading faction for invasion specific quests, entertaining players, recruitment, and cloning.
o Bestine
+ Camps for the invading faction can be found just outside of Bestine at -900 -3782, -1253 -3348, and -1184 -3821.
o Daeric
+ Camps for the invading faction can be found just outside of Daeric at -2 -2805, 355 -2605, and -890 -2994.
o Keren
+ Camps for the invading faction can be found just outside of Keren at 1820 2192, 2131 2766, and 1212 3054.

* Construction
o Tools:
+ Tools must be constructed to make pylons. Their resources are available from a supply terminal near the offensive and defensive general.
+ Supply terminals may be sliced by smugglers to provide optional components. Slicing the terminal repeatedly will increase the quality of the optional components.
o Pylons:
+ Pylons are construction points where you get construction quests.
+ Pylons are constructed by tools, which trade skill players manufacture. Anyone may use a tool, but trade skill players are the most effective at using tools during construction.
+ Constructing a pylon fatigues the builder, causing the construction of pylons to take longer and longer. This can be eliminated by visiting entertainers to work off fatigue.
+ Some Pylons have 4 levels:
# Level 0: No construction and will not spawn during the battle.
# Level 1: 1-49 resources have been constructed on the pylon.
# Level 2: 50-99 resources have been constructed on the pylon.
# Level 3: 100 resources have been constructed on the pylon.
+ Pylon objects:
# Soldier Patrol:
* This object spawns NPC's and is represented by a helmet icon floating over it.
* Defensive patrols stay entrenched at their constructed location.
* Offensive patrols assault defensive positions.
# Barricade:
* This object guards nearby players and NPC's and is represented by a barricade icon floating over it.
# Turret:
* Turrets are AI controlled and fire at enemies nearby. The pylon for these is represented by a gun barrel or dish icon floating over it.
# Tower:
* Towers buff non-player controlled AI nearby to do incredible amounts of damage. The pylon is represented by a floating tower icon over it.
# Vehicle Patrol:
* Vehicle patrols spawn tough vehicles and are represented by a terminal icon floating over it.
o Pylons are converted to their corresponding object when the construction phase ends and the battle phase begins.

* Battle
o Vehicle spawn points:
+ Level 1: Level 60 elite vehicle
+ Level 2: Level 90 elite vehicle
+ Level 3: Level 90 boss vehicle
o Patrol spawn points:
+ Level 1: Level 60 NPC
+ Level 2: Level 90 NPC
+ Level 3: Level 90 elite NPC
+ Entertainers may entertain patrol points to buff NPC's spawned for both invasion and defense of a city.
+ Patrol points may be sabotaged by spies, which require a quest from their faction's general/attaché.
o Barricade:
+ No levels, but HP is increased by 5000HP per resource added.
+ Barricades offer defender quests for general combat.
o Tower:
+ No levels, but HP is increased by 5000HP per resource added.
+ Vehicles target towers
o Turret:
+ 5000HP per resource added.
+ Level 1-3: Increased damage per shot, but it can be mitigated by armor.
+ Turrets offer defender quests for general combat.
o Wounded soldiers:
+ Offer a quest to revive fallen soldiers to medics. Will reinforce a location or begin patrolling into the city to add to the invasion force.
o Damaged vehicles:
+ Offer a quest to tradeskill players for repair. Once repaired, they will reinforce the invading force by patrolling into the city.
o Demoralized troops:
+ Offer a quest to entertainers to be entertained and rejoin the battle effort for both offense and defense.

* Invasions occur every three hours and last an hour. Two of the three cities will be active during each invasion.
o The construction phase lasts 30 minutes.
o The battle phase lasts 30 minutes.
o Defeating a defensive general will end a battle with the offensive team as the victors.
o Keeping the defensive general alive for the entire battle phase (30 minutes) will allow the defending team to win.
o Defensive general will flag players as Special Forces, if they persist in attacking him. A warning window will be displayed for attacking a general and not being Special Forces.

* The Planetary Map for the appropriate planet will show the current phase that Bestine, Daeric, or Keren is currently in (construction, combat or occupation).

* Factional Helper
o Neutral players can become factional helper to help their favorite faction.
o Use the command browser, /factionalHelper slash command, a faction recruiter, an invading city General or a city defensive Field Commander NPC to access the factional helper system.
o There is a 30 minutes cooldown once you have stopped helping one side before you can start helping the other side. You can still immediately help the side that you most recently stopped helping.
o If you are a Special Forces factional helper, you will be automatically changed to Combatant factional helper upon cloning.
* Factional Presence
o If you are factional special forces (NOT factional helper special forces), "actively" playing the game, not cloaked/incapped/dead, and out in the world in a GCW contested region, each minute, for risking life and limb to provide factional presence/patrolling the GCW contested region, you will automatically provide a nominal amount of points to the GCW score for your faction for the contested area. The amount of points is proportionate to the character level, plus a 10% bonus for each GCW rank.
o Factional presence is only granted if you (or if mounted, your vehicle/mount) are on the ground out in the world. This means that factional presence is not granted if you (or if mounted, your vehicle/mount) are in/on any part of a structure (like entrance steps, roof, balcony, theater stage, etc), or on a bridge, or in a garden, or in the bazaar/bank plaza, or on a storyteller platform, etc.
o A "GCW Factional Presence" radial menu has been added to the War Terminal and the War Intel Pad that displays a window showing the GCW contested regions that currently have factional presence activity.
* Player City Factional Alignment
o The mayor can set the city's factional alignment from the city's management terminal.
o There is a 1 day wait to switch the city's factional alignment. There is no wait to align with the same faction that the city most recently aligned with.
o The city's factional alignment is displayed in the city's status window and in the announcement message when you enter the city's borders.
o If factional presence (see above) occurs within the borders of a same aligned player city (i.e. the player city overlaps the GCW contested region, and the factional presence occurs in the overlap area), there is a 100% bonus, plus a 10% bonus per city rank, plus a 5% bonus per year of city age.
* Travel Perks And Restrictions:
o Once a planet is 70% controlled by a faction, the following travel perks and restrictions will apply to GCW officers. To repeat, GCW travel perks and restrictions only apply to GCW officers.
o GCW officers of the controlling faction will have 0 shuttle wait time.
o GCW officers of the losing faction can only board every other shuttle, or pay a 50000 credits surcharge (each time) to avoid waiting for every other shuttle.
o GCW officers of the losing faction must pay a surcharge for shuttle travel if either the departure or the arrival planet is 70% controlled by the opposing faction, whichever is greater. The amount of surcharge is 500 credits for each % above 70%.
o If the planet has more than 1 Starport, only 1 Starport will be available for interplanetary ticket travel (both outgoing and incoming) to GCW officers of the losing faction. The 1 Starport that is available is the one that is least controlled by the controlling faction.

* User Interface
o The Galactic Civil War Information Screen:
+ A new button has been added to the button bar. The Galactic Civil War screen is THE location to get all the information you need to see what's going on in your part of the world, or how the war is going in other galaxies and the final score across all galaxies.
+ This screen can also be brought up with the /gcwInfo command.
o The Galactic Travel Map:
+ The planet map has been updated to show areas that affect the outcome of the Galactic Civil War as well as the score for that current zone.
+ Areas currently under rebel control will show up as a rebel insignia, imperial control shows up as an imperial insignia, and 50/50 zones are shown with a contested insignia.
+ You can prevent the Galactic Civil War zones from showing up on your planet map by simply unchecking the "Show GCW Contested Zones" option on the Planet Map window.



* Miscellaneous
o Spawns will now be affected by a regions GCW score. The higher the score is in a region, the more likely you will be to see troops from the faction that is currently winning.
o There are new collections tied to the GCW city invasions.
o GCW points directly affect some planetary spawns and are properly represented on the war terminal.
o Mon Calamari Cruisers or Star Destroyers will appear in the sky of a planet, depending on who is winning. The more your side is winning by, the more ships you'll see.

Battlefields

* Replaced the original two story battlefield bunkers with reworked single story bunkers to address the line-of-sight issues caused by pvp'ing in those buildings.

Graphics

* Frame rate limit increased from 30 to 60 FPS.

Storyteller

* Storyteller vendors can now offer most props and NPCs in larger quantities when purchased.

Bounty Hunter

* Sniper shot no longer requires a prone position.

Weapon

* Pistol Launcher rocket trail particle density reduced.

Chronicles

* Tusken Raiders from the Tusken King instance will now count towards 'Kill Tusken Raiders' and 'kill and loot Tusken Raiders' storyteller relics.
* Greater Desert Womp rats should now count towards 'Kill any Womp Rats' and 'Kill and Loot any Womp Rats' Chronicle Relics.

Misc

* Targets you cannot attack (such as same faction NPCs) will now display their health as a grey bar when targeted. You still cannot attack these NPCs, merely observe their health.
* Added a checkbox on the character selection screen to hide characters screen on servers that are now closed.
* Players may now equip as many cybernetic attachments as they wish. Now you can be the droid you're looking for!
* The Allow Object Icon Rotation option now applies to toolbar icons and not just inventory/container item icons.
* Export command now properly writes out font colors.
* Players can now mark themselves as "Looking For Work" (either by using the command /lfw or checking the LFW option on the Character tab in the Community page). This tag is meant for players who wish to do commission based work or provide some type of service. You can search for players with this tag by using the community search tool.
* No-Trade items can now be placed into containers inside a player's house or space POB.
